HOUSE OF TULIP follows two Black trans activists as they run for office and work to build Louisiana’s first housing refuge that provides residency solely for trans and gender non-conforming residents. The short documentary, supported by the Sundance Institute and the Kendeda Fund, highlights the dangers of being trans in America today, but it also shines a light on the beauty and support systems that are being created too.
